I am looking for someone who would have knowledge of where I can get the replacement filter for my water system on my pup. It is a 2007 Rockwood 2302.

Check some of the posts in this thread Kreich; filters and good places for replacement are talked about quite a bit. Not certain that your water filter is the same but it likely is. FR tends to install the same systems in all their lines.

Hi Kevin,
Welcome to the Forest River Forums.

Here's a direct link to Forest River's Water Filtration page .

Their prices are a bit steep. If you follow the thread that welshman599 posted, you'll find a little more info on your filter options.

Enjoy the forum,

I bet those internal filters would last longer if an external filter (the kind with garden hose fittings) were also used.

JMHO.

Radio...I think I'm going to try that this coming season. I should have taken a pic of my filter when I took it out. YUCK! It was orange...and slimey.

The DW and I have our camper set up on a sesonal site west of the twin cities of minneapolis and st paul We have been there for 4 years now Our Cherrock has an inline filter built in from the factory which we buy at CW which is less than 45mins away but we also have one of those blue filters attatched on the outside so we are prefiltering our water before it goes into our main filter This has made a great deal of difference in the quality of our water and it has not affected the pressure at all It increased the life of my inside filters also Our first year I changed the filters 4 times in the last 3 years I only change the inside filter at mid season and have been running the outside filter all season long Every weekend from May through the mid of Oct Pluss long holiday weekends and 2 weeks vacation in there So we use them for quite a feww days during the summer Oh by the way The blue afilter is 17.00 and you can get the others at CW for 13.00 for a pair of them Have fun

Howdy neighbor! I think I'm going to get some type of prefilter this year. Our undersink filter was so clogged up with crap it was nasty. You could smell it at the end of the season in the water at the tap. It was full of orange slime.
