New version of tailgater?

The latest camping world catalog arrived today and I noticed the tailgater dish was completely different. It looked pretty cool and had 2 coax out. Gray and black. I verified it on the Kings site but I cannot find any information at all about it or if it even exists. Anyone heard anything at all? Just about to order a pathway x2 but this gave me pause.

Larger foot print but shorter height. Can be portable or permanent roof mounted. Has dual receiver outputs but of course that would require dual coax runs within the rv.

the kingconnect.com web sight has a dealer locator to click on then enter town, state, click search. These are available through rv dealers and some communications vendors. the dual coax is for feeding 2 receivers. You will have to call or visit your local vendors for pricing, if you do please post so others will have the info as well.

Will be interested in the reviews. With an MSRP of $379 it is much less expensive than the Winegard Pathway X1. (MSRP about $550). Is a little larger.

King Tailgater - 13.5” H x 18.75” W x 17” L
Winegard Pathway X1 - 14.2" H x 14.3" W x 14.3" L

Just visited kingcontrols website they have a short video about the new tailgater. If you want to mount it to the roof it does not require a special bracket like the winegard pathway.

I looked for the new Tailgater on the Cabelas website and it does indeed show the new one. There are no reviews yet but one question that has been posted did get an answer from CabelasExpert5 who differentiates the new one as the "Blue HD model" and the "White Standard model". Also, according to the Cabelas site, the new Tailgater has a standard price of $449 andincludes the 211z receiver and a bunch of stuff.

Site Quote: "Tailgater antenna includes a weather-resistant cover. Includes: Tailgater antenna, 50 ft. of RG6 coax cable, HD Solo ViP 211z receiver, infrared universal remote (batteries included), HDMI cable, RCA composite audo/video cable, user's guide and quick-reference guide."

Cablea Link to New Dish

"The Dish Network® Tailgater Portable Satellite System, Item # IK-525532, is being offered in 2 configurations. The blue system is the Tailgater HD and the white is the standard Tailgater." 1 week ago, CabelasExpert5
