How do you stop that ridiculous newsletter popup without subscribing??????????

Clicking the X on the box sets a cookie on your browser so we won't ask again. If you are purging all your cookies at the end of the session you are also wiping this one out and so you are asked again. This is a function in your browser settings typically and you should be able to change settings to retain FRF cookies..

Im also running this up the flag pole.

Did anyone ever figure this out? Sure would be great to know. I turned that Newsletter button to Off but it is still there. I have just now gone into browser options to see if there was anything there to use, and I have set FRF as allowing cookies so hopefully it will retain the settings I have given it concerning the popup on FRF?

Update: I think when I turned the browser settings to retain FRF cookies, it worked. I have not had any popups today - touch wood! So, when I clear my cache now, it leaves the FRF ones intact. I guess that's how it works? I also turned the Newsletter button to Off as mentioned in my previous message.

Nope, that did not work either. Has this been resolved as yet?
