Think it was only offered on certain models back then.

Sure hope none of the FRF Dodge owner are part of the huge by-back and recall program going on right now. I'm to understand that a few hundred thousand pickups that can't be fixed are being bought back from the owners. The NHTSB has the full details of the recall.
That would be a real bummer to buy the truck you want, add thousands of dollars of towing equipment and custom good, maybe a transfer tank and custom wheels and find out you have to sell it back to the manufacturer due to a defect in the steering and suspension.

Never heard that one. Back in the 60's when I was a teenager, it was fix or repair daily and found on road dead. Can't say that anymore for us. We had a Minnie Winnie with the Triton V10 which treated us good and now our new MH is the E450. Will have to see how this one holds up. Only 2000 miles so far.

Oh no...that stinks that your TV was stolen. (For a 2006, it looks like she was well taken care of!)

I gotta give my hat tip to Toyota Trucks....I drove the living snot out of my 2005 Tacoma until last year when I traded her in for a 1-year old Tundra that, easily, pulls our 33-foot Rockwell. (My Dad and brother are also Toyota Truck guys and nobody has ever had any big issue....they're about as close to indestructible as you can get, IMHO.)

Best of luck!

You could always get a buddy to haul you to the campground. I'm sure your dealer can deliver.
