No luck this week

Friday is suppose to be my PDI and Demo day on my new to me Roo. Looks like a winter storm is moving into the area. Looks like I will have to reschedule.

But Albany RV (RV Direct) sent me the title and all the paperwork. I had the day off and went to register and pay the taxes. No luck registering it without taking it to the police station for a VIN inspection. So, when I know that I am going to pick it up, I will need to get a 5 day temp... Or just "borrow" the plate off my utility trailer.

Congrats on the rig. I wouldn't borrow your other tag to take it to the police for a vin check.

Any questions, transferring the plates. You need plates to get it there. Registry gives you 5 day temps. PD checks VINs once a week except a few locations not near me.

Any new info on this storm?

Well, with 3 feet of snow where the trailer is suppose to be parked, more snow coming Thursday and Saturday, I guess she will be staying in NY for a few more weeks.

LOL. You're right about that! That is exactly why I cancelled my PDI for Friday. We would have been testing the new to us trailer for a few days in NY.

Trailer is still at the dealer. But I have a 10am appointment for my demo and PDI. Bad news, looking at the forecast... Snow Wednesday evening.... AGAIN! Plans are to try and beat it home and get her parked in her spot before the town piles the snow in the corner again.

Yah, I forgot to say the appointment is Wednesday with the snow starting in the late afternoon to evening. Forecast also calls for windy conditions all day, so I have to watch my speeds. I am keeping an eye on the forecast and debating if I should cancel once again.

Nice. Glad you made it. Last time I tried to rush through moving camper in bad weather, got truck and camper stuck in mud. Took six hours to jack up many tires, dig out mud, place wood planks under tires, etc. I learned my lesson that weight doesn't mean power...it can mean sinking into mud.
