Non-permanent storage lighting
After our first season with the new TT the one thing I want is light in the storage compartments. I'd like to hardwire an led strip, but I wouldn't even know where to hardwire to.
In the mean time I was looking for a non-permanent solution. Does anyone use these

Or if anyone has any recommendations or use something different please feel free.
thanks

I have placed these types of lights in all sorts of dark places in my Shamrock. All cabinets are dark when you come in from the bright sun... and even darker in the evening!
Those lights that you mentioned I'm sure will work. I have put puck lights I found at Costco... about $16 for 6 of them into use for that.
I purchased a roll of velcro tape and put it one the lights and on the cabinet doors and use it to stick the fixture to the cabinet. You have to replace batteries eventually and the velcro allows you to do that easily.
However, I find that those push button types of lights, well I frequently forget to turn them off, then they are dead the next time you need them.
I sometimes find electrical things online at a place called Banggood dot com...
I have been ordering from them now for over two years without a problem.
order direct from China with a paypal account...
I have several each of these auto on/off led lights shown below in all the dark places, and in the dark storage areas... prepare for about 3 weeks delivery time, BUT you will get them eventually and the price shown is shipped to your door price with a small discount if you order at least 3...

I just use the dollar solar lights from Dollar Tree and charge them up before the camping trip. Just be sure they have an on/off switch.

Those are interesting. I looked on ebay and amazon too. I like the PIR route too.

I recently purchased several of these battery lights at our local Rural King for $4 each. I was impressed at the brightness!

So far, I have put up only one of those puck lights in the street side rear storage compartment. Instead of tape the kind of light I put up hangs on a screw that I put in a wall so I can change batteries. I went with battery power because getting 12volts back there would be a pain to do. I still want lights for the pantry closet ect. Might go battery powered lights there too. Jay
