This is a picture from a 1960's Ford Wagontrain Rally. I don't know what campground it is, but if you look closely the striking difference is the lack of pickups! Most of the campers were predominantly pulled by big, full frame, V8 wagons and sedans. For what it is, I love this picture! Enjoy!!!

Generally speaking, the engines, brakes, etc are much better today than in the 50's, 60's & 70's.

EXACTLY!!!! Common Sense was common in those days and we didn't need big brother putting a warning sticker on EVERYTHING!!!!

If you ask 10 people if they have common sense, I'm willing to bet all 10 say they do. Whether they actually do or not... I'm willing to bet one of them was the clown I saw in the newspaper last month jackknifed and flipped over on the highway towing a 30' rig with a Nissan SUV with no WDH. "Naw honey, it pulls fine, we'll be OK."
