Nudist campgrounds

Awkward is...
going a fellow's house (we were in the same volunteer organization) and he and his wife and recently been to the carribean (st maarten) and he offers to show me their vacation phtoos. Sure, I'll look at your vacation photos, it's the polite thing to do, right? Well the of his pics are of him and his wife of course but what was surprising were that they were of them on nude beaches, a nude cruise, nude windsurfing .

I'd like to visit a nude recreation area - I think I might even have the guts to enjoy it (rather than be so self concious as to not stay). But, um, to take pics of the family and show them to near-strangers back home? No way.

Here you are setting at your dinnet table in your camper at a nudiest campground and the site next to you is open, next thing you know someone backs in to take the spot.....now think about this....how active are you when you first get into a spot with setting up, all of the bending over and in some odd postions leveling getting your stuff out and setting everything up, what a picture that is.

I got a kick out of this thread - some of the jokes were pretty funny and BTW like some stated above - nudist's dont judge what other people look like and they arent pointing fingers and stuff like that -

An old female co worker told me she and her husband went on a nude camping trip - this is what she said to me - she was awkeward at first but once she realized the other people where doing the same and drank a few beers she got more relaxed and has gotten over the fear - even told me if I wanted to go I could as long as I found a baby sitter for my 4 year old daughter - I dont honestly know I could do the Nudist thing either.

there is a nudist camp about half amile down the road from my farm all tucked into woods, i really dont understand the folks that go there, with all the tic's and other critters on my farm it cant be fun to run around in the woods nekid, not to mention 4 other dairy farms near it, the smell cant be that great :P

There is one in south Louisiana, below is their site , WITH pics!
I remember jackass or wildboys doing a show there once and playing volleyball or somthing nekkid with some not exactly attractive folks.
And no, I have never been. They are in the brochures that state has for camping though. For some entertainment, go to the site and check a few of the pics, you are guaranteed to feel better about yourself. Their rules are also hilarious!
Warning, there are nude pics on this site, so it is not exactly work safe.

I'll admit, I admire someone that has the "guts" or lack there of (NO PUN INTENDED) to go nekked. But I have a hard time trying to convince myself to get in a bathing suit (Yeah right! NOT any more, not with this body!) to go to the pool to get some good honest exercise. I'd even put on a tee shirt over it, but still can't force myself. Some bodies are just not meant to be seen nekked or even semi nekked. MINE IS HEAD OF THAT LIST. Heck I'm almost at the point of not wanting to go outside to be seen at all!

But I love camping way to much so I must subject other humans to endure. It was worse when I was ATVing all the time!
