Obsessed with your RV?

My wife tells me I spend more time in the RV than I do in our actual house. Event when we are home. Apparently I am tinkering too much.

Anyone else have this issue?

Yep, 3 times now. A jayco, wildcat and now a rockwood. I go out to it several times a day.

OK so its not just me then. I will some times watch tv out there and work on my laptop instead of siting in my actual office in my house ... lol

I wish! Our RV lives at the storage lot.

I do sometimes get the urge to just go visit and say hi...

Yes I can't imagine having my RV in a storage lot. I like the sunseeker right outside my garage. Can pretty much walk in my pajamas from the house to the RV. OFten I will shower in the RV instead of going back into the house.. .lol

It's 1 AM. I'm heading outside to finish installing the LED reading lights over the night stands. Does that count?

We live in the RV away from house 225 days in the last 15 months...haven t had time to stay in a Walmart overnight yet....but maybe will this winter ....when we are not staying in our 5 er it lives in our driveway in front of house....which wife spends time keeping it stocked cleaned and ready to travel....I treat the roof a couple times a year, and wash it about the same....along with lubing the seals and gaskets along with routine maint......guess that is why they say it is a lifestyle.....

OK, add another one to the group. Mine is stored in a building at a storage facility, but I can get to it anytime. I sometimes go there and crank up the tunes, lay on the couch and think about our next trip. That's in addition to any opportunity I get to bring her home and tweak her out.

I might be guilty of working on ours from time to time, but don't really spend much off time actually in it while it is home. Sometimes find a couple of things that need to be slightly altered.

I have not been in or worked on the trailer in a week.
So I guess I am not.
I am planning on pulling the wheels and drums off this next spring and repack the bearing with a known to me type/brand of grease.

So this may change next year when I get to use the thing more often.

Only time we are in ours is when we camp or I have mods to do. It is used as a guest house too when family comes to visit and it is right behind the house.

Every once in awhile, we'll open up the rv and crank the ac to watch a movie inside with the kids...the surround sound in it is thundering, feel like we're at the movies!
