Sure! I've seen those before. They were made to be able to tow your trailer behind the family car. You should see the actual hitch it was meant to connect to. Basically a metal vice clamp with a ball you would tighten down around your bumper. That was probably more like around the 50's or so.. I think Acme was one maker.
