Ok....advice please... BEST overall camp chair?
Our folding bag chairs and my ever aging seat meeter... Well, i've had enough.
Tried a zero gravity at sams.... Just didnt quite "feel" it... Maybe a different brand.
Thanks y'all!

Walmart sells an upgrade version of the bag chairs
Brand is Ozark Trail - they are a bit larger and sit higher and not so saggy in seat - much nicer than the cheap bag versions - aporox 25-30 bucks each
Dicks Sporting Goods sells a similar chair too

After trying many, many folding camp chairs we finally found a brand and style we love. Kijaro is the brand and they have many styles of chairs but our favorite is the sling chair. http://m.dickssportinggoods.com/prod...qE3RoCoa7w_wcB
Very sturdy and very comfortable. Have had ours for 2 years now. Most sporting good stores have them and a friend told us wallie world carries them now but haven't seen any there myself.
Good luck on your quest for a comfy camp chair!

I really like the Sport-Brella Recliner chair because:
1- it's comfy
2- it has a shade/unbrella that's detachable
3- it can recline
4- it has a foot rest that's detachable
5- it's light weight
6- it has a cup holder and an insulated pocket for more drinks or storage

Edit: my first link didn't work, I bought mine via Amazon

I use and like the dual-lock chair shown at the bottom of the page at NMWildcat's link and in Rrickim63's post.

We like the Directors Chairs. Not as easy to store as a bag chair but easier to store than a gravity chair.

I'll be the dissenting vote for those Kijaro chairs. My in-laws have them and so do friends and I just don't find them to be very comfortable. I've tried 2 different ones of them. They're a world better than the cheap folding chairs, but still aren't my cup of tea.
I've wanted to try a Strongback Chair for a while, but have a super hard time justifying the $100 price tag. https://www.strongbackchair.com/
Our most recent chairs are the Comfortsmart Chairs from Coleman:
Coleman - comfortable camping chair - coleman camp
I like these better than any other chair. The downside is that they don't fold down very small.
My true favorite is a campchair that Sams Club sold 15-20 years ago. They were sturdy and well made. Unfortunately, I can't find them anywhere any more. If I did, I'm betting I'd buy enough to fill a basement and would just swap them out every 10 years.

Kijaro. Easy in and out with no sag. We have several and they come in a variety of colors.

I like the directors type chair with the straight back and folding side table as I find it more comfortable (purchased at COSTCO). DW prefers the folding bag chair with a side pocket and drink holder (local hardware store). I think you have to actually sit in them to see what is best for you.
I'm the oddball in that I also like sitting at a picnic table, leaning slightly forward with my elbows on the table.

x2 on having to sit in a chair to see how comfortable it is for you.
Being a short girl I have found many of the camping chairs can be a tad too tall to get out of easily. About 7 years ago I brought a Coleman oversized chair that is comfortable.
I'm not crazy about the zero gravity chairs either but have found some of the higher price ones ($125 +) to be more comfortable & easier to use.

Not for sure if you can still find them (maybe down south or east) but we found some very comfortable folding rocking chairs at Tractor Supply. They were having their end of season sell a month or so ago.

Getting out of most chairs
The thing I find wrong with most chairs is being able to get out of them....I tried some at camping supply stores and a lot of them I had to have help getting out of. Most had a support that was just behind the knees that cut off the circulation to the lower part of the legs. I like to nap in a chair and most do not make that possible....It is a real crap shoot.....another BIG problem is storing them. Some are just way too heavy and take a lot of space to store....We have some chairs that we have had for probably 20 + 25 years......

I'm looking for new chairs as well, really need something I can put my feet up too. Old joints can't take the fold up bag chairs for too long.
