I need to find a meeting.... soon. I am addicted to Amazon prime. I order way too much to list here....rv mods, items for camping, items for the house, t-shirts, chairs, school items, presents, rally give aways... my list goes on and on and on. I think.k I might be their best customer. 2am ordering on a kindle in a dark bedroom is the best!

I think you only pay tax if you are in a state where Amazon has a B&S facility...
MD must be one of those BS States..... I mean B&S States.

ah yeah - only because amazon now has a warehouse here in maryland - so since amazon has a physical presence in the state, they have to charge sales tax.....
Soon after the warehouse opened, I had ordered something (not prime, just regular shipping) and was surprised when less than 24 hours later an amazon delivery truck came to the house and dropped it off.

While I continue to try and empty the Amazon warehouse of things for the camper, DW is trying to deplete them of all things baby - awaiting the arrival of a granddaughter in February.
But, I won't see a truck out my way!

Purchase very little from Amazon anymore. Prefer to purchase locally, if I can. (Strange, the same items I would purchase on Amazon are sold at Walmart; Home Depot, Lowes, local RV, etc. )

Used to purchase my Taste of the Wild dog food (large bags) and biscuits from Amazon but found a place online, Chewy.com, to be more reliable, better priced and free three day shipping.

I use taste of the wild too. Buy it at the local petco. I will have to check that website out. Thanks.

I live in North Carolina and when I order from Amazon I have to pay sales tax. Also I don't have Prime so it seems like it takes forever for my order to get shipped. Most of the simple stuff you can find at Walmart and cheaper.

I almost always buy RV accessories from my selling dealer. They bent over backwards a few years ago to help me with an awning problem on a previous 5th wheel that I did NOT buy from them. After selling the 5th wheel, we bought the present TT from them, got a good price and excellent service after the sale on a couple of warranty items. IMO, it's worth a few extra bucks to make sure this outstanding dealer stays in business so they can help me and other RV'ers in the future. The dealer is Seven O's RV Way in Cicero, NY. I have no affiliation with this dealer, I'm just a very satisfied customer.

Pretty much almost everything has come from Amazon. I find it, order it, get yelled at by DW, then install it. Sometimes have it shipped to the campground we are at if it's longer trip and I broke it.

In our little city (50k) population shopping options are limited. It's Walmart Sears Home Depot and Canadian Tire only and 90 minutes to Costco. Amazon.ca is a red headed stepchild compared to your .com version but still a very viable option for us. I sit phone or tablet in hand shopping in the evening with one eye on the tv. Always like Christmas when the truck arrives.

Amazon Prime ships deep discharge batteries FREE to your door.

My mailman hates me.

PS - Since the US Post Office got the prime contract, they deliver on SUNDAY.
Who would have figured that Amazon would save the USPS?
