We had not planned on this weekend but at dinner tonight we discussed May weekends

5/3 This weekend Open
5/10 Next weekend Mom in Law needs our help (She has surgery on Thursday)
The next two weeks my mother and father after 30 years have decided that 3 acres of yard is to much and I have to help them close on sale/close on buy and move. The 4 children have told them for years to sell the place and move on but after dads cancer last year it took awile for them to admit its to much.

So there is our May weekends

Mom and dad finally listened to the kids!!!!!! YEA!!!!!!!

I am proud of them as they built there home 30 years ago and only financed 5000.00 and they sold it in less than 1 hour in a bidding war and got over the asking price.

Where I grew up from age 15

Mom and dads new house in a few weeks

Yep they are downsizing and only moving 2 blocks from where they are now. So 3 of the 4 of us are still VERY close

We are taking our second trip this weekend also. We live just north of you. We are waiting till Saturday Morning going to Picwick State Park on Picwick Lake. My parents retired just south of there ( Iuka, MS. ) but on the same lake. We want to show them the trailer. This will be another test to see if I need to replace my 3.42 for 3.73.

Good luck with the Vlite. I put helper springs, duals, and a K&N intake on my Ram. Going camping at Manatee Springs State pk. Memorial day weekend. Got a new Concertone installed, and fixed my leak on the fresh water tank under the sink. Can't wait to try it all out again! Randy

Ahhhh That was nice, Sorry no pics as someone "ME" forgot the camara.

We had a nice time although it did get chilly

Trailer was flawless and dirty but be had a great time!!!!!

Arkabutla (Hernando Point) was empty and the water WAYYYYYY up. Water was actually higher than I ahd ever seen at this lake.

Will be a month before we get out again but man it sure was fun.
