Most reputable tire dealers in this area will not put LT tires on trailer unless they came with them for liability reasons............
This guy probably blames the tires when they fail............

"N" = 87, is the MAXIMUM speed for the tire. Don't think you want to drive everywhere at 87mph

Definitely not in Virginia 80 mph and higher is automatic reckless driving by state law and can get you some time in jail.

On a recent two-hour trip home here in Texas 100 degree weather, I counted 105 different "road alligators" along the road. That was in TWO HOURS. Sure made me want to go buy stock in Discount Tire.
I run Goodyear Endurance tires on my Cardinal - rarely get over 65, but it's good to know if I need to push 70 for a short distance, I don't have to worry about blowing a tire.
Plus, even if I stay somewhere overnight for a single night...I check the pressure before leaving and do a visual. Every Time!!

On some of those little pop ups, the tires are rated for 45mph MAX, and they try to do 70 with them and wonder why they blow.
Take a good look at the tires you have and see what the speed rating is for them. You might be surprised.

My factory ST tires are rated at 75mph.
And the Carlisle Radial Trail HD Trailer Tire I replaced with with is an 81 MPH tire.

Never said I planned to. In fact I said just the opposite.
The point was a poster said they'd never seen a ST tire rated above 65 MPH.
I simply pointed out the Goodyear Endurance is higher.

These strips are normally a series of depressions (around here anyway). Nails roll right into them and as they roll over the edge they land pointing up. Now you roll over that strip and bingo you picked up a nail. I've seen so many trailer/rv tires totally shredded by the time they notice or stop how can anyone really say what the cause was. The tire is in chunks all over the last couple of miles. Just some food for thought.

My neighbor works for PennDot and he has told me this very thing.
Those rumble strips attract every piece of trash on the highway and hold it there for you to run over.

The Castle Rock ST tires that came on my FR 21SS Roo are rated at 75mph max. with 50psi max inflation. The trailer build date is Jan 2016. About 6K mi so far. I keep the max speed at the lower of 65mph or the limit.
I do not have the sidewall info handy to post.
Most annoying problem for me so far is the TPMS sensors drop out off and on. Oddly, this trailer came with spare max weight capability from the tires, but none from the axles.

Regardless of the ST vs LT argument, LT tires on a TT, 5ver or PUP that has been in an accident is, if noticed/discovered by an insurance adjuster, is cause for claim denial, regardless of who's at fault in the accident.
This applies to utility work trailers as well. You won't find many companies running trailers with LT tires for insurance purposes.

It's really too early to tell if the Endurance is going to be the "Go To" tire for the RV'rs. Barely a year on the market, so I'd give it another year or so. Seen reviews from 2017 where people had bulges appear on the sidewalls after as little as 30 miles. Jayco is going to the Endurance on it's entire line to Travel Trailers.

I think this is how most drivers drive regardless of what they are driving! I taught my sons to be looking 1/2 to 2 miles down the road vs at their hood or bumper when driving. It makes it easier on the body too without having to keep turning your head for peripheral vision. You should/will see an accident develop way before you get there or are involved (multiple car pile ups). I also passed on my "scan technique" drilled into most pilots, especially military. If you are taught this when you first learn, it stays with you.
Add in cell phones, texting, ... accidents waiting to happen.

Haven't figured that out yet, but I tend to believe it's a mindset that some folks actually think they can reduce the distance between two points with speed.

I agree. I'm already seeing thought processes of folks who have switched to the Endurance tires: "I have the new Endurance tires. They're made in the US and speed rated for 87 MPH, so I have nothing to worry about".

You may be right.
But at least it's better than... "I've got XYZ China tires on my new R/V. They barely meet the load specs, are only rated to 65 MPH, barely hold air and I don't have a clue who will warranty them... but I have nothing to worry about."

Because Tireman9 said you need a safety margin. I think he said 15-20% on max load inflated capacity.... then 25% means more safety more better.
