We've had RVQ's on the last 2 Flagstaffs over 6 years and use them only with the awning out and never had any problem and we use it quite a bit as we spend 3 months+ in FL in the winter. Kinda hard to use it when it's raining if the awning is not out. We put the awning out within 30 minutes of parking at a campground and only put it in late the afternoon before we leave a campsite early the next morning.
