Make sure when trying to sell your old rig on CL that you take your "heart" out of the sale. Most folks think their old stuff is worth far to much its actual value. Be realistic and take advantage of the early season and low gas prices that will bring in a lot more lookers and tire kickers. Ya gotta figure if its paid off you got your moneys worth out of it. As far as MSRP's go, there is no regulated standard used such as those you find on autos etc. Most dealers with make up their own to look very good like the manufac. produced it. I'd be leery of that dealer. Also, if the unit they have doesn't have a ladder on it, it may not have the additional wood re-enforcement needed behind the exterior walls. Couple of trips up that ladder may be hazardous to your well being.

Good point on the ladder. You would assume they would have verified before they offered to do it...but??? I sent an email to the sales rep to make sure someone verifies it. No ladder no deal!

I did check the NADA on my old rig and presently have it about a $1,000 under Average Retail. I go in about once a week and lower it a $100 or so. Trading it in Saturday, so have a few days to see what happens.

Speaking of Ohio don't forget to check out Holman RV on the east side of Cincinnati. They're a wholesaler too with very good prices and no hidden up charges. Tax and title, that's it.
