We stayed at Emerald Beach Resort, but I wanted to stay at Destin West. Destin West was full, but they are owned by the hotel next door and give you full access to their facilities with swimming pools and swim up bar!

Emerald was nice, but a little bit away from the action. With teenage kids, they wanted to be where the action was. We were out classed in Emerald for sure. We were surrounded by half million dollar rigs!

You should do my trip 3600 miles Texas to Cape Breton Nova Scotia there and back every winter to Alamo Texas.

Be careful with those little gators!
Even that small they can tear up a finger or a hand in an instant.
