Our First Snowfall of The Year

This past weekend was the first snowfall of the season, we ended up with about 4". The forcast is calling for some kind of frozen precip tonight late and then heavy rain in the morning with temps increasing. For Christmas we are looking at a 25% chance of a white one in the North/East.

As cold as that water is right now, I will stay rotten until Summer when the water reaches 85 degrees, and by the way I just looked out side and it is snowing like h_ll.

We only got wet snow that didn't stick from the weekend storm, and are only getting a cold heavy rain right now. Go ahead and keep that snow.

21 degrees out right now and heading for a low of 14, or so they say. Luckily it's clear and no chance of snow though.

It was beautiful....I was camping at Bar Harbor campground in Abingdon Md this weekend while it was snowing. There were 4 other class A's there too. Hot totties and large fire and some good cat fishing made this weekend awesome!!! Indeed very nice to see the snow and still camp out.

Already have over 14" over last years total, and its only December 9. Three storms so far and 44" plus for the season. Today its - 12.5 F , attention getting cold. But that's Colorado, wait an hour and the weather will change.

Shorty, I lived in Abington with my older sister many years, like when I was 20. I didn't know that there is a campground up there, imagine that. Now she lives in Fallston.

We're located just south of Baton Rouge and had our first snowfall of the year last Friday evening. The snow storm, if you could call it that, lasted about 40 minutes or so, and had just enough accumulation to make one small snow cone.

Imagine that. Here we are in Stratford Ontario Canada and we are just getting our first real storm last night and today. It is more gusting and squalling than anything else.Hopefully it will stay like this till January and then get nicer. I drove a neighbour to the cancer clinic in London (about an hour south of here) and they had virtually no snow cover at all. It seems the older we get the less we appreciate the winter, so when I hear of snow in Baton Rouge or traditional getaway places like Arizona it makes me shudder. Just keep repeating.....SPRING IS COMING...SPRING IS COMING. Old Guys

I'm bummed... it was 80 degrees outside today and I don't get to head to the mountains this year at Christmas for the snow -- have a kid getting his wisdom teeth out.
So, just have to look at pictures like this, and get more depressed :-)

Oh well, will just have to go fishing instead
