outdoor shower surprise

During a recent trip to the beach, I used the outdoor shower for washing sandy feet and dogs, and I just left the door open with the shower head hanging in the provided notch.

While looking for something in the cabinet under the bathroom sink, I noticed to my surprise that I could look out and see the ground through two large slots in the shower housing. The shower hose loops through these two slots, which are large enough to accommodate some very large mice or other intruders, and it's just not noticeable from the outside.

My camping buddy has a very quality-built Bigfoot trailer, and we found that his shower had the same problem. He didn't believe it until he checked. Better leave that outside shower door closed when not in immediate use....or somehow block those openings.
