For sure. We never used ours till this summer when we had gran kids with us. It was wet and stormy and they got dirty and muddy and we could give them a good rinse before coming inside.

Not gonna happen. There are one way valves on the shower output (mines not a shower...just a connection for the OEM supplied 15 foot coil hose) and the black tank flush line. Also, since the flush connection is a few feet above the black tank how is anything going to travel UP to get into the hose?

You'll be more likely to get contaminated water from the fresh water tank, even if you didn't have a black tank installed. Having seen the inside of fresh water tanks during routine maintenance has taught me to never drink that stuff.

I used our outside shower a couple of weeks ago when we were beach camping to rinse the sand from my feet and the paws of our two fur babies. I thought it was very handy.

OMG this was a good morning laugh. Why do people think they install that cheap vacuum break BY CODE? Also if you don't trust that add a one way backflow preventer between the break and connection as Spock 123 did.....

We have an outdoor shower tent for public cg. We use the outdoor shower more in the Naturist campgrounds.

Never had one before and figured we wouldn't use it either but use it more than the tiny sink inside the camper! Wash dishes using it, rinse feet and French bath e using it all the time.

My outdoor shower is a great location to store a replacement showerhead hose when the one inside fails. That is all I use it for.

We had a Jayco Kiwi 23B & the inside shower was for me (5'2"). We bought Ozark Trail Camping Shower 3.5'X3.5' portable Utility Room Shelter & my husband (6'1") set it up in rear & had his showers! So we got plenty of use from it! Plus using it for rinsing off items etc.
however our newer Rockwood Mini Lite will have a huge shower that we both can use..so not sure how much use outside shower will actually get, but still nice option to have. In my opinion!
