Outside Stereo

Ok my unit does not have this but I would love to add one. I have the perfect place and I am not scared to cut.

Is this functional and enjoyable? Where can I buy one with the stereo and speakers together in a package like an outside shower container?

Low Vis speakers

My Brother-in law has mounted two small (4 X 6) black patio speakers under the doorside edge of his fifth-wheel. They are above the bottom level of the frame, so not susceptible to damage. They are weatherproof and the color makes them hard to spot. That way he did not have to penetrate the walls...only a wire hole through the floor.

I've been thinking about it. I think I will make mine removable.

Our Salem is the first TT that has had exterior speakers and I didn't really think they were a big deal. But I must admit it's nice sitting out on the deck with something nice on the the CD player. One small caution though - check to be sure its off when you don't want to advertise what movie you're watching via surround sound...... Around 11pm one night a neighbour knocked on the door to tell us that he likes Mel Gibson movies too, but he's already seen Brave Heart, so could we maybe turn the sound off! Fortunately it was not as embarassing as it could have been. Imagine if we were watching Stephen Segal!!!

As a fellow camper, I'll suggest buying IR wireless headsets. If it's loud enough for you to clearly hear the TV or stereo, your neighbors will hear it too.

Having camped next to campers who enjoyed watching TV outside while we were trying to enjoy a little nature...

SHHH!

So you're the one who had seen Braveheart. Sorry about that!
