Outside Stove Top

New here and we are looking at a Salem 30KQBSS. It has the outside kitchen which is a must (sink, fridge, grill) but I do not see an option for the stove cook top like all other campers have. Can this be added?

Thanks for the help.

We have a 2011 Salem Kqbss, and it came with a cooktop that slid out of the drawer. We were told a bumper mounted grill was an option.

It's got the bumper mounted swing grill but the kitchen part only had two visable drawers both small and no stove top. Forrest River website is not real easy to use to dig any further.

On a side note how do you like the Salem?

Love it.Are you sure one drawer is not just a front and the cooktop pulls out after it flips down.It would be hinged at the bottom. If not they must have changed the design.

Opened both (see pic). Just empty drawers. I like the camper and the price. The downfall is the no stove top. Sure I can go inside but this should be standard like yours with the grill as an option.

I will check to see if there is a brand name and number on the stove top that is in our outside kitchen.

Just checked and our cooktop is a Suburban. It didn't have a model number but the manual said it is a SDN 2 dropin cooktop. It didn't say what the thing it was mounted in is,but it is hard plastic or fiberglass and about 3 to 4 inches thick with a small dished out area on the right hand side and a black metal top that flips up and wings that flip out to help block the wind. This is all mounted on two double slides that slide out giving ample space to cook.Wish I could have found a name and number of the whole setup, but I hope this much will help.

I have the same stove-top in my Puma toy hauler, I would prefer a grill.
Wish there was one that I could replace it with.
