Oven

Recently purchased a 2007 8315SS and redoing it. I have not started on the kitchen area of the unit, but am wondering if anyone has given up their heater to replace the stove with a larger one. I love to cook and couldn't cook a pigeon in that thing. I also prefer using electric heaters, so I figure I wouldn't miss the furnace.

I wouldn't take out the furnace, maybe ad a crockpot into the cooking mix, I use my furnace like crazy, set the stat and go to sleep. Plus the furnace provides heat with just the battery and a propane bottle if needed.

If you have a microwave, might consider replacing it with convection oven. DW rarely uses oven at home since we got convection unit, and she is a serious cook.

We were skeptical until we actually got one, now love it. And it still doubles as a microwave.

Looking at your floor plan and pics online, I see the furnace is under the stove and you have in-floor ducting. I'm wondering if you couldn't move the furnace to under the entertainment center. I see some kind of black grill under the TV area.

Also, if you have an enclosed underbelly and camp in cool weather, be aware that the furnace may blow some air into the belly to keep the pipes from freezing.
