Post Over air antenna (amplifier)

Can anyone suggest troubleshooting flow chart of logical steps to locate my problem?
Received my new King antenna, installed as advertised. Problem, with old antenna couldn't get any stations. New to me TT. Light on the amp in the TT comes on. Have tv wired direct to the wall plate. Ran a channel scan with old and NEW antenna, wired directly from wall plate to TV. Still no channels. Took wall plate down, has power, (light comes on) and two coax cables attached. one to antenna and one to outside hook up for park cable. Any suggestions as to how to trouble shoot the amplifier on the wall??

Thanks,

Because you indicated that this has never worked, I would start by making sure the cable connections are in the proper location on the back of that wall plate using this guide.

Winegard Company Antenna Support, Troubleshooting

PS Page 1 of the manual is really page two. I find it easier to download the file than click and run it.
