My buddy has an rv and he made a rack that slides into his reciever. The boards travel standing up with no problem and they are locked in so no one can steal them. I am lucky with my truck as my surf board rides in the back. If interested I can try and get a pic to post.

We carry both. Bought a Yakima rack got the SUP's, then put the yaks in the bed of the truck. This setup works great for us. Click image for larger version
