Paging Tireman

I'm fixin to put a set of tires on my chevy 1500. Would a XL rated p tire at max pressure be better or worst than an "E" tire at only 50#. I don't need the capacity of the E, but cannot locate a soure for a C or D rated tire. They would be 255/70R16

I'm not an expert but I'm pretty sure it just Depends on how much weight you're putting in the bed. 'Passanger tires ride better and have more side wall give but aren't rated for as much weight. If it were my every day driver and I only hauled occasionally, I'd go with a passenger tire as long it was rated for the weight when you are hauling.
