Moose Jaw is really flat.
Southern Indiana has rolling hills and would be covered in hardwood forests if it wasn't farmed. We live on about 100 acres and farmed it ourselves before leasing the crop ground out.
I don't remember what year this pic was taken but it had to be in the summer during a drought. Some of those brown spots in the pasture and yard are where there are large rocks just under the surface. Others like those in front of the house over the fence are my fingers.
You can also see where the pond level has dropped. That white dot to the left of the shed by the pond is my trail horse, Joe.
