Picking up trailer at the Factory in Oregon?

I am driving up to the factory in the Salem, OR area to pick up my Wildcat 29BHS. It will make for a nice weekend trip since I will be coming Redding, CA. It will probalby be on a Saturday so I don't think anyone will be there at the factory. I think they will mail the keys to my dealer.

My questions:
Do many people do this?
Any tips I should know?
Will I be able to get into the trailer or just two the thing to our dealer.
Yes I am taking it to the dealer to be checked over and preped etc.

Any advice would be appreciated?

Too bad you couldn't use it before taking it to the dealer this way any problems that you found could be handled right at the factory. Having the factory take care of any problems is, IMHO, much better than having the dealer fix them.

Good luck with the pick up and enjoy the new camper!!

Just make sure you hook up to the right trailer -LOL.... Also make sure you have temp plates or dealer plates to transport it.

we just saw an Wildcat 28RKS, at a local dealer.
it's only made at the FR Oregon factory and only available in the West.
kind of bummed since prices out here are way more than the same thing in the Midwest, so can't use their prices to bargain with, since it's only sold out here.

we drive by Salem all the time, since the DW is from Wash. and we camp quite often at Silver Falls.
so, next time we're in the area, we might just stop and take a tour.
