Pickup this weekend!

We take delivery on our Coachmen 292BHDS Freedom Express Liberty Edition on Saturday. Any last minute words of wisdom or advice? This is a once used unit, but new to us. We are so excited.
Wish us luck...

Welcome to the forum and congrats on your Coachmen 292BHDS. Are you buying from a dealer or private party? Do a search for PDI (Pre Delivery Inspection) checklist on Google or Bing and you'll get plenty of links. Just make sure everything, I mean everything, works before handing over $.

Thanks for the info about PDI list, I'll check it out. We purchased from Tom Raper in Richmond IN.
We'll be driveway campin' Saturday night. Then probably Brown County in the next couple of weeks to really try it out.
Really wanted to camp at Hardin Ridge over Memorial Day, but appears I've missed the boat on getting a reservation. Any other suggestions for a like campground?
Thanks everybody for your responses.

Congratulations on the new camper and good luck! A PDI checklist is well worth it and it might help you think of things you may have not thought of.

Actually, in the files section on the menu bar under miscellaneous documents there is a PDI file. You can probably find one through google too but, there are alot of good things in that section regardless.

Enjoy! I can't wait to get out but, we just stopped having snow storms here in Northeast PA.

Camp driveway is a great place to camp the first night. Don't forget to change your sig.

Hope the pictures come thru. Had a great day, great delivery and uneventful ride home. That's to Tom Raper RV, they were a pleasure to work with. Hate to have to put it away tomorrow. Looking forward to our first real outing in a couple of weeks.

Thanks for all the great advice.

Thanks for the pics, looks great! Yeah, it hurts to get something like that and not use it for a while. Now you can lose the 'still looing' and 'on the list' in your sig.
