Pismo Beach suggestions

We're leaving this afternoon to Oceano Dunes, going to meet up with some friends.

Unfortunately this is the single instance where I am worried about my 2WD truck. Will air down the tires when we get up there. My buddy says the sand is compacted and there shouldn't be an issue. He'll have his 4x4 F250 to pull me out if I do get stuck.

Any advice on anything I can do to try and make sure I don't have any issues?

Between airing down the tires and your buddy's truck, you should be just fine.
