A picture, they say, is worth a thousand words.
Everytime I see a sewer hose on the shoulder, I think of this photo.

I ran SS screws thru both end caps so I would not loose them now I am worried the weight of the screws will rip the bumper right off the frame.

The Bumper Tube by its construction has a (Butt Weld) the full length on the bottom! Welding Slag/Imperfections aided buy Rust cause (Wear) on your hose as well as (Rust Stains). Very simple remedy (Line bottom and 1" up the sides with (Vinyl Home Soffit Material)! Have a (Vinyl Siding installer) form the piece in their (Brake). Slide the piece in the bumper and (Presto Vinyl lined Bumper)! Youroo!!

We carried our sewer hose in the bumper of our Flagstaff for about 8 years,,,
never had a problem,,, until the cap fell off one time,,, hose came out and we drug it a couple of miles down a gravel road,,, it only had about a million holes in it,,, that I did not see until we dumped the next time !!!
First thing I did when we got the new Sunseeker a couple of years ago was drill and bolt the caps in the bumper !!!

Good idea youroo,,, but if you did not have a Siding Installer,,,
Maybe you could just cut a pic of vinyl siding or something to set in the bumper,,, I am guessing the weld in on the bottom ???

salesman told me when you sell your camper they look at the bumper. if you store your hose there it is rusty and disgusting. keep mine in basement in a ruubbermaid with wheels.

6" PVC pipe and a gutter mounted under the trailer. There is a thread on here somewhere (I'll try to get the link). Works awesome for holding 2 hoses and my elbow fitting.

I guess I have been lucky. After spending thousands of $$$$ on a new RV, my friendly dealer has always given me a "welcome box" with many essentials including a 10' sewer hose. Granted it is all from China and worth less than $10.

A 4" pvc tube will hold a Rinio Flex with ends attached....I've got 4 torpedo tubes with screw on caps, but no trays.... purchased a support and made a adjustable height one for using at the trailer valve end.

I put mine in a black Rubbermaid container. Everyone knows (well, I say everyone but my wife and I know that black container is for sewer hoses only). I keep my fresh/potable water hoses in a clean clear Rubbermaid container and we always keep those separate from each other and our rule is to always wash hands after handling black water equipment prior to handling anything else to avoid cross contamination.
On a side note. after each trip I fill that black Rubbermaid container with water and I add about 1 oz of bleach and let soak over night with sewer hoses inside. I don't know if does anything but it makes me feel better about it.

Ahhhh, that is the way I went with Class C Lexington. One for sewer hoses and one for fishing poles. Now I'm in a Class A and haven't decided yet, currently using 12 gal container from Wally World

Inside the back bumper...it's a tad larger than the sewer hose. The fittings go in snug but have not noticed any abrasions to the hose. Extra sewer hoses, fitting, black water hose, and rubber gloves are stored in a rubbermaid container in bed of TV. But I do like Herk7769's idea.
Have a great Forth of July

These are mine for the Grey Wolf 26RR
the first showing construction. three tubes - if you're doing the job you may as well add a spare for the future.
a few weeks later I painted the caps to match the trailer - black for sewer hoses and fittings, chocolate brown spare, light brown for the ladder.

Our 285kbh has a rear door with steps, therefore the bumper is too small for hose storage. This thread has been very helpful. THANKS? Can any give me info, maybe even a picture of a folding ladder?
