POLL: Where do you store your sewage hose?
Howdy,
I'm now on my third sewage hose in 2 seasons. Reason? I've been shown/told to stow away the hose in the rear bumper. Problem is, the accordion edges wear out while in there due to vibrations and rubbing against the metal.
I've also bought new sewage accessories that now are too large to fit in there...
so asking the collective wisdom here: where do you store tour sewage hose and accessories?
Cheers,

6 inch high tote with a sealed lid, in the basement on the street side.
As are the flush hose, rubber gloves in a ziplock bag on top of the lid.

X2. If you go that route, don't forget to drill drainage/ventilation holes along the underside.

That's nice! Can you share how you did it - material, mount location, installation detail etc?
Thanks!

Inside a rubber maid bin. 90% we do electrical only and dump. I have a cheapo hose in the bumper for this. It has worn holes as well, just some electrical tape around the accordion joints plugged up the leaks.

We use an old Rubbermaid bin we already had with lid. The only problem is it it is marked 'FOOD' in permanent marker across the top. We are wondering the reaction if it ever gets stolen... Also keep disposable gloves & hand sanitizer outside the bin.

X2.
I have a large enough Rubbermaid container to hold my RhinoFlex hose and extension, a few fittings, black tank flush hose, rubber gloves and wipes. Thought about the 5" PVC fence post but you can't get them here in Canada and I need some place to store everything else anyway, so the Rubbermaid works best for me.

I carry a cheap 10' & a 20' sewer hose in the bumper. I don't really get sentimental about sewer hose, and replace the hoses every year. Just buy hoses, reuse the connectors. I use the 10' if close enough, if not, I use the 20'. Each has connections to hook up to the trailer and dump. I put the larger sewer, i.e. flush connector, ground drain in a zipper, zip lock black in a plastic bin with sealable top. I carry gray water hoses in a plastic bin, that I use for my galley drain. I use a "Y" connector if I am able to hook up to a sewer. Run only shower and bathroom sink through it. When I dump my black, I disconnect the "Y".
