Portable second ac

Installed a 10000 btu portable ac in my bedroom to assist my 15000 btu roof mounted ac and the day I started using the portable, I had warmer temps in the kitchen/living room. It seemed to restrict the roof unit causing warmer temps. Any suggestions?

Are you blowing the warm condenser air of the portable out a window or just letting it go inside the RV? If it's just blowing out in the rig it's probably adding more load to the original rooftop unit.

Well, look at it this way, your portable exhausts air from your camper. That air will be made up by air that will "bleed" in from the outside. Most likely that will be warm air. Your roof mounted unit does not exhaust anything ---- it recycles and cools as it does so. Your portable is most likely increasing the heat load for your roof A/C.
