Portland OR area tires on Sunday

Anybody that knows where I can get tires for my fifth wheel close to Portland Oregon on Sunday I would greatly appreciate it. I am currently in a rest area and need four ST 235 / 80R16 and Good Sam says there are none available until Monday.

Trying to help out here....

I put together a list of potentials. The majority are geared more towards big rig trucks but Love's Tire Care advertises their inventory fits any need and budget. Tire Factory lists many associated stores throughout Oregon. The Tire Factory listed herein is nearest to Portland, OR. Perhaps this Tire Factory store could recommend an affiliate that is closer to your location.
AnyTime Tire, I know nothing about. In fact, I don't recall doing business with any of the below listed vendors except Costco...just trying to help however I can. Les Schwab is a reliable tire company based out of Oregon. Les Schwab indicates they have a 24 hour service but I haven't been able to locate a number for that service. On a Sunday, tomorrow, you will most likely find a Costco store open in Portland. Over the years I have purchased tires from Les Schwab, Discount Tire, and Costco. Hopes this helps...I live up near Seattle.

Portland, Oregon 97230-3401 Ph: (503) 258-3700

As an afterthought...

Here are some Camping World entities around Portland, OR. None of which appear to have service departments open on Sundays though. Up here at the "Tacoma, WA," Camping World they do sell RV tires. Enjoy!

Thank you so much for providing this information. Unfortunately last night we had four tires separate due to the Heat. Fortunately however, a fellow from Les Schwab parks next to me in the rest stop and within half an hour arranged for someone to be at the closest store and have the tires replaced.Les Schwab Rocks!

Wow, all four!

What brand were they?

And yes I have had very good luck with the Schwab in our area.

Sorry for your predicament. Did all four go at once or was there a failure and the others just went after.

Letting others know may avoid similar issues. I too had Power Max Tow King and two had rotten beads when removed to install Goodyear Marathons.

Yes Les Schwab does rock! No business is perfect of course, but they do a very good job. I don't buy or service tires anywhere else!

Tires in Portland, OR area on a Sunday

Costco - Walmart are Sunday possibilities in a pinch.

Gotta say, I got expert RV tire service from Chuck at (Nolan's Point, formerly named the Tire Factory - same business, new franchise name)
Unless I had no choice, I would wait for Monday to see this guy in particular.

Chuck was referred and knew to recommend Cooper Tires and also added metal valve extensions . My next mod will be a TPMS system.
Nolan's Point Tires
22045 SE Stark Street
Gresham, OR 97030
503-666-6759
(corner of Stark and 220th in Gresham)

I live in Portland, but drive to Gresham for this excellent service and competence.

And I agree with the others, Les Schwab is a winner all over the NW. But not open on Sundays.

Just to wrap this up, the tires did not blow they ballooned up and we're rubbing and smoking so I pulled into a rest area last night. Good Sam and AAA were unable to provide any assistance until Monday. I happened to talk to a Les Schwab employee at the rest stop this morning and he made some calls and they opened the closest store and put four new tires on for me. I am now on my way to Canada!

Typical Les Schwab story - simple math

This is the stuff worth taking the time to write a letter to Corporate leadership at Les Schwab. 5 employees - wow...... kudos deserved

We replaced the tires on our 2009 Sunseeker that had 11K original miles. I went with an all season Toyo tire. After a 3K trip I decided I didn't like the tires because they wandered a bit. I went back to Les Schwab and talked with the guy that sold them to me, and they replaced them with a better Toyo road tire and only charged me the difference in tire cost plus mounting! 3K miles!! I have been a loyal Les Schwab customer since 1972 and won't go any where else.

Les Schwab is near & dear to our heart. They have bailed us out a couple of times over the past several years with difficult tire issues far from much population. Another positive vote for a company that actually cares about customers!!!!!!

Sounds like low pressure. External heat should not be a factor.
