Power awning tilt

I found that if it rains with this set up, if you leave the black knob loose, it will automatically dump the water on the top pretty quickly! Mine had a small puddle in it, and when I loosened the knob, it dumped it out as the sliding mechanism slid in, and the edge dipped down. Pretty cool stuff! Randy

I tried to get one through my dealer, but have gotton no response from him. Any suggestions on how I can get a kit for my awning?

I contacted A&E/Dometic directly from the owner's manual phone # that I have, and spoke to a woman in customer relations that said you need to give your dealer the model and serial # from the awning that is located on a sticker on the arm with the motor. They then can call Dometic/A&E for the free kit. I heard however that they had a fire at their plant, and are experiencing some delays, but that is just what I've seen on here. GOOD LUCK! Randy

I have lci power awning, do they make a pitch tiling replacement arm.
There is no model number on the awning arms.

I had the same problem with water build up . Here is my solution, went to the Dollar Store and purchased 2 dog tie outs. Connected bungie cord to the awning, 1 each end and them ran a racked tie down from the bungie cord to the dog tie outs. Just put enough pressure on the tie outs to make the awning tight, rain runs off , no more problem

Thanks Derek, thats what i have been doing from time to time.
A friends has that arm that folds down a little bit so he doent have to tie it down.
Looks like an easy change out if i could find the part,but will continue to use bunjee cords till then
