Well I have had two tt with this system and never had a switch failure due to water. My new tt has gone through a lot of rain this year and still working.

BTW Gleaner why would you have bought 4 manuals and why crawl under the tt to extend when it has a manual mode?
Later RJD

I deploy the autos and put the manual by the axles.
Just to take out the bounce.

I did verify today that if the trailer isn't plugged in and you pulled the battery disconnect it does kill the power to the stabilizer Jacks

Gleaner, did you get just two jacks and exactly where did you decide to place them? My thoughts are four with braces to stop front/rear movement. Might leave the factory things if they work at all. I do like the cover from Lowes in another thread (guess that's what its called)..

Aceinspp,

The stabilizer doesn't level the trailer. It just keeps it allegedly from rocking. I have a picture of us at Cado Lake State Park, Texas, that looks insane. It was the only site and massively not level. Try stacking wood blocks 4 inches high and then use these stablilizers on that. We did not need the last step on the extended steps as it was on the ground anyway.

New computer so I ain't gonna look for the picture. It's in here somewhere.

I bought 4.
My TT sits in the same spot all setup, so unless I'm going somewhere different on a trip it's not like I'm re-leveling all the time.
I read here not to put them on the corners for fear of damage, so I just put them on both sides of the axles.
