Power Steps

Has anyone tried installing the Kwikee 32 / 40 power steps on their travel trailer?

For those interested I got a quote on installation of a 3 step from my local RV Dealer and the price was ~$2500. Pretty steep, but worth considering...

And I was pained by $500 for TWO sets of quadra-steps for my camper. Let us know if you proceed and how it turns out if you do.

Not worth considering in my book. I might feel differently if I were disabled or rolling in dough.

I am not considering the dealer doing it; now that I know their cost proposal. If I proceed it will be by my own effort. I will see how this camping season goes and decide if the steps frustrate me enough to change.
