Prayers. Please be careful this weekend

Ran accross this on the way out of town today on 50hwy in MO about 30mi from sedalia not sure of actual town in Johnson county MO. We were stopped as an ambulance hauled one off person and the other was life flighted out. Our prayers go out to those injured. If anyone finds any news please share as I could find nothing yet. Hoping for the best for those involved.

There is a tight curve before the spot where the skid marks start so speculating on my part that it was sway induced. The skid went from the left lane to the right ditch. I have towed through here before and it can get dicey if going too fast as the speed limit is 60 and that is too fast there when towing.

The truck pulling it looked fairly bad and had rolled in the trees and disconnected from the trailer.

Enjoy the long weekend and please be careful!Click image for larger version

Not familiar with MO but here is a crash report from today that sounds like it may be this one. Found on this website: https://www.mshp.dps.missouri.gov/HP...olumn=location

CRASH OCCURRED AS VEHICLE1 AND ITS TOWED UNIT WERE TRAVELING EASTBOUND ON US50. DRIVER BEGAN TO LOSE CONTROL OF THE TOWED UNIT AS IT BEGAN TO SWERVE. VEHICLE1 BEGAN TO SLIDE, TRAVELED OFF THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE ROAD, THEN RETURNED TO THE ROAD AND CROSSED THE CENTER LINE. VEHICLE1'S TOWED UNIT OVERTURNED AND TRAVELED OFF THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE ROAD. VEHICLE 1 AND IT'S TOWED UNIT STRUCK A FENCE CAUSING VEHICLE1 TO OVERTURN, EJECTING DRIVER. VEHICLE1 CAME TO REST ON ITS WHEELS OFF THE SOUTH SIDE OF THE ROAD WHILE VEHICLE1'S TOWED UNIT CAME TO REST ON ITS TOP OFF THE SOUTH SIDE OF THE ROAD. ASSISTED BY CPL. R.W.
