While in Florida I had one of my prescriptions filled by Walgreens. Their price was 20% higher than my normal Michigan price. Since I have all my Medicare Prescriptions filled at Walgreens I contacted Walgreens & my Medicare Blue Cross Provider about the difference in pricing.
I was told that different Walgreen stores will charge different prices even within the same city!!!
So just a "heads up: folks--- check out those prices before filling the order.

BandJCarm: check out the most recent issue of Consumer Reports (August), pp. 53ff. It's a real eye-opener. The bottom line is, only 20%!, You ain't seen nothing yet.

Make sure you have enough meds on hand to last your entire trip.

That's why I use Costco they are consistently cheaper, I expect Sams will be the same.

Rest in Peace Mary my darling wife.
Scottish by birth Canadian by time.
Walmart or Sam's should be cheaper. The drug plan that I am in requires that all long
term meds be bought via mail order with 90 day amounts. They are very cheap and the system works very well. I can get one time meds at Walgreens or CVS. I don't like Walmart because of their customer service, long lines and surly staff. Good Luck
