Propane -- How Much are You Paying?

I pay 30 cents per pound at the Amish hardware store near to where my seasonal site is in Lancaster County, PA. So, I walk away from the hardware store with my previously empty 30 lb tank filled for $9.00.

How much are you paying and where are you getting it?

Bruce

My most recent fill up for a 30 lb. tank was close to $30.

Where's your seasonal site at? GR Mitchell there in Lancaster (near Circle M) is the cheapest I've ever paid.

It cost me $27 to fill a 30# tank or $.90/lb, based on 4.2# / 1 US gal that's $3.78/gal.
...trust my math is correct....

Cheaper for us here...we're always cheaper on gas, but we pay in other ways.

#20 at Costco was $7.90 about 2 weeks ago. It feels almost free to use my grill!

Yes. My opinion is that it is a little upscale from Sam's....sort of the Target/Walmart difference.

I kind of assumed but we do not have any in this end of the state that I know of. Are they new???

Just googled it closest one to Roanoke VA is in NC 88 miles away got to figure in the membership cost too........... Would not be cost effective for us the $23 30 lb bottle would be cheaper than going to a costco

Nice that Costco has dropped prices since mid summer. I also filled my 100 lb for the Trottage along with 3 30 lbs and 4 20 lbs. Good thing I have enough milk crates for smaller ones and a trailer to transport 100 lbs vertical.

Costco is Sams Club.

Was called Price Club and name change a few years ago. They are building a new one with 3 km of my place, they will have Gas and Diesel so that will be my local filler up place for all types of combustion products. Propane, Gasoline, Diesel some types of food as well..
