On Sundays? Psha. Want to impress me? Tell me where I can go at 1am in the morning for refills! Because Lord knows, that's the only time I run out.

I think I could make a full time job following you around with full thirty lb tanks.

I laugh.

And then I'm sad.

You don't need to dispose of old ones just yet.

I just had one of my 20 lb bottles I use for my grill re-certified at my local Ferrellgas dealer. It was $5 for the re-cert, $1 for "hazmat fee" and $19 for refill, plus a buck and change for tax; so a total of $26 and change.

The re-cert is good for 5 yrs. As long as it passes, you should be able to re-cert it indefinitely.

Here's their website. They have a dealer locator there.

I had one expire. I just exchanged it at the gas station for a new filled tank. It seems exchange is the new thing around here so I tried it. It wasn't really that expensive.

Most Co Op gas stations in Saskatchewan have propane and they are open Sunday. For example there are 4 in Moose Jaw, and 3 of them are open on Sunday (The Ag Center is closed).

Yes, that's an option. However, I take good care of my tanks, and don't wish to end up with one that hasn't been taken care of.

Bought brand new tank with gauge for $25 at Costco filled it for $6.11. I usually will take old one to one of the trade yours in for a refill. That way you do not need to worry about disposal or getting it re certified. BJs also fills tanks for same price as Costco and a lot easier than at Costco. Later RJD

I'm with you but it's an option and in my case the collar was a little different and the clamp on my camper wouldn't fit through the handle so I dumped it. Normally I always refill them like you do.

That's why I only have 1 tank turned on at a time. When it runs out, I switch to the other one. Then in the next couple of days, I get the empty one refilled. I usually also take my 20lb grill tank & top it off at the same time. I've never run out of propane using this method.

And, I've still got the grill tank as an emergency back-up.

You carry a third one in the bed of the truck but that one might be empty as well.

I have an incredibly short attention span and forget things easily. Its a terrible recipe- but great for guys like Turbs who see the business potential!

Sad, but true. If they were so expensive, I'd buy a little 5lb bottle. I want one any way for my little grill.

Love's Travel Stops have locations all over the US and propane at all their places I have visited. Here is their web site:https://www.loves.com/en/location-and-fuel-price-search

The Alternative Fuels Data Center has a map of propane fueling stations across the US. No mention if they can refill RV tanks, nor what stations are open on Sunday. Their web site is: Alternative Fuels Data Center: Propane Fueling Station Locations

Another source is the Public Liquefied Propane Gas Stations, but again no mention of refilling RV tanks and each facility has it's own hours. Their web site is: Public Liquefied Propane Gas (LPG) stations and prices in the USA

Yep, the one we are at does. Good thing too as I had to utilize their services late on a Saturday night a couple of weeks ago.
