Propane tank question
Hi folks has any one use an adapter to be able to use a 100 lb tank on a tt. We found out we will need stay in ours for awhile this winter. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

it's done all the time. check with the park manager to see if they allow it and if there is a propane company that makes deliveries. if so contact them and i'm sure the can supply the tank, hook it up for you, and fill it.

so call the local propane company and see what they can do. they can supply a tank. do you already have the tank at home? if so a local plumber would be able to hook it up. you want to ensure that any hook-up is in compliance with any concerns the propane company has so that they will still be able to refill it.

What size tank(s) came with the tt? You'd be much better off changing over to a remaining full tank and filling the empty tank at a store such as Tractor Supply. Don`t ever wait to fill two empty tanks. I did that for 9 months while waiting for my new house to be finished.

I already have a tank.My tt came with 20 in tanks.The one plumber we have in the area said he won't do anything with it.

20 is unbelievably small for a tt tank. Mine came with 2 40lb tanks. Each lasted for almost a week in cold weather. 40 lbs is easy to handle. Show us a picture of your existing propane tanks and their bracket. Assuming you have connectors for 2 tanks.

Personally, I'd contact a local propane company and would pay for the service call for them to come out, hook up my tank, and then leak test it. But I'm chicken when it comes to things that can explode.

I have a 100 gallon propane tank and I ordered a twenty foot hose to hook to my Cedar Creek

I might have been mistaken about the capacity of the two tanks-- think the tanks I had--no longer have, were pretty tall and very heavy! I had all I could do to put a filled tank in my vehicle. Sorry for any confusion!
