Protecting awning from slide corners

Found these at Home Depot in the moving department. Nice and wide.

That's a good idea.

We use cut up pool noodles about 12" long with a slit to pinch on top of the slide. Both very good ways to protect the awning.

I use a noodle on the bottom of one of my slides as it is over one of my basement doors, and I actually knocked myself out on it once when I forgot that slide was there.

Never thought about using one on top of the slide for the awning.

My awning completely covers one slide on my 5'ver, and when the awning is fully deployed...it rubs on the top of the slide.

A design flaw, in my opinion.

I'm gonna get more next time I go in to town.

I prefer to use the noodles designed for hot water pipes...the swimming pool noodles come in kids colors and don't match too many RV's.

Just cut some slits in the awning so it goes around the sharp edges.

J/K did you try them yet? Better then those Camco ones I showed you.

No didn't get a chance before the 6 inches of snow came yesterday. Hoping by Sunday yesterdays and tomorrows snow will be gone off the TT to give them a fitting.

I use these on the bottom corners of my bedroom slide so I don't lay my head open.
Foam insulation elbows for pipe.
I think they were 89¢ each.
Could be used for awning protection too.

5picker I found those as well at Home Depot. They were a very close second to what I purchased. Either will do the job. I went with the moving corners because they broader.
