Purchasing on-line

Just wondering if anyone has purchased items from "FactoryRVsurplus"?
I not here to bad mouth them just curious on their business tactics.

I purchased some scrimm tape a few weeks back. The on-line website said $1.00 would be charged to my credit card to ensure the card is valid, afterwards I would be sent a shipping quote.

I recieved their generic thank you email which says "Thank you for your order. Your order will be processed and shipped as quickly as possible. Below you will find your order summary."

The summary showed I had been charged the whole amount plus the $1.00....lol

Well here is the problem I recieved a second email from an individual from Factoryrvsurplus and this is the content of that email.

"Your order calls for a shipping quote. UPS Standard is estimated
to be $27.00. If this is ok to ship please email or phone in your
payment information, again. This information is needed for the
shipping charges."

Email or phone my CC number, really! thats not happening.
Am I wrong, or is it just me. (the call is long distance to me)

This person is telling me they don't have my CC number.........hmph. Well you had it at one time, I was charged $50.00, again.

My question is, who would blindly give their CC number over the phone or to an email, once again am I wrong or is it just me.

Thanks
John

That's why I buy everything from Amazon.com!!!!! I probably would have bought my RV from them had it been listed (and Prime).... Wouldn't pass up $3.99 shipping.....or $8.99 Saturday delivery
