Questions going Snowbirding

Hi looking for ideas!!! We are planiing this Nov thru May to spend in Orlando and have questions about thinking we are going to need more refrigerated space. So was planning on buying a 4.2 cubic size dorm fridge. But where do i keep it ideas. Wont fit in storage compartment. Wont fit inside Rv, But can keep it under awning outside, but rain? Do we make a tarp cover for weather elements? Do most parks allow this to be on the patio slab area? What do most of you full and part timers do for added fridge space for Beer Soda Water, since being there for 6 months not practical to but ice every couple days to keep these beverages on ice and cooler. Any thoughts really appreciated as this is all new for us being out for 6 months.. Thanks so much

Not all parks will allow it. You need to check in advance.

You can probably fit it under one of the "Lifetime" brand folding tables that popular.

If you are concerned about people getting into it, if you decide to put it outside, you can consider getting a small chest freezer instead.

Then, you can use a temperature controller like this - https://www.amazon.com/Inkbird-Itc-3.../dp/B01MDSWXY4

The freezer plugs into the controller, and you put the controller's probe into the freezer, and then just set what temp you want on the controller. You can use the chest freezer as a regular refrigator using this method, since the external temp controller will act as the thermostat, rather than the freezer's thermostat.

And, chest freezers tend to have locks on them :-) So no one getting into your beer while your not at your camper.

Snowbirding

Thanks for the responses, i was more interested in finding out if the unit would cool properly in the winter Orlando Fl temperatures being outside. Really not concerned about unit nor inside beverages being stoken. More concerned about function of fridge and being outdoors under awning but more about moisture, rust etc. and has anyone used this type outdoors setup for 6 months periods. Thanks again

I've known people with fridges on their back porches they use for years.
