Radio antenna on a REV 24TB

Been trying to get better radio reception and noticed that on a Dodge ProMaster, the antenna is right above the middle of the windshield. On the REV, the fairing is in it's place. Is the antenna just missing or relocated somewhere? Any good ideas on how to boost the reception? Thanks!

As the wise one said, I am watching this thread for a solution.

I generally only listen to AM radio and AM reception is either BAD or static.

At my PDI I mentioned that the reception was terrible and was told it would improve once I moved away from the metal building. That metal building must be following me in cloaking mode for over a year.
