Oakman, nice thread. Hope you enjoyed your time in the sun. According to Home Depot and Lowes, it's almost Christmas

The cool weather continued here in Gulf Shores but at least yesterday the sun finally made an appearance. We have RV friends staying at an RV park just across the border in Florida so yesterday we paid them a visit. Their park is on the Intracoastal waterway and their site backs right up to the waterway. It was interesting watching the various watercraft pass by their site.

I’m sure the operating expenses of a ship like this must be very high.

When this little boat came passed us it made me think of Bluto, the cartoon character from Popeye. It just looks like a boat Bluto would have.

For dinner we all went to the Sunset Grill at the nearby marina. I must say the restaurant is aptly named. Here’s a pic I took while sitting at our outdoor table.

We were at the grocery store yesterday and this was the first time I’ve come across a store that actually had Summit coolers in stock. I’m cheap, I’ll drink warm beer before I’ll pay $300 for a cooler.

Yesterday we took a Dolphin Cruise. We saw quite a few dolphins but it was hard to get photos of them since you never knew where they were going to show up. The cruise lasted about an hour and a half and was well worth the $11 per person we paid.

If anyone going to Goshen would like me to pick up one of those coolers for them I'll be happy to do it. You'll have to send me the money first though.

For that kind of price it better be a magic cooler that never runs out of beer.

For those who haven’t been to the beach lately I’m posting some photos of beach "scenery" to help you identify the type of activities and the people you might see there. These photos are for informational purposes only.

Many people love riding ocean waves on tubes pulled by wave runners.

Surf fishing is a popular beach pastime too.

During spring break it’s easy to identify Sorority Sisters, they dress alike.

With all the snowbirds here for the winter it’s easy to identify them because their beach wear might be considered somewhat overkill.

And finally there are always those folks at the beach who are Showoffs.

I hope these photos were helpful.
