Recommended Table Lantern

Anyone have a recommendation for an electric (battery) table lantern for use on a picnic table? Something that will provide proper illumination for smores and food prep, but not so strong to overpower the campfire.

I'm partial to this one. It has three settings and is LED so it will last for years.

We have a silhouette vinyl cutter and added the bears to it.
It's a Coleman CPX 6 Soft Glow LED Table Lamp.

I love our Coleman quad led lantern. Super bright when all together and the sides pop off for smaller needs. I've had the same batteries in it for three summers now and it's still bright.

I have one of these lanterns, too. In fact, it was the last gift my dad bought me before he passed. It's my absolute favorite lantern because it comes apart. Being LED, the D batteries keep the sections charged forever. I love I can break the lantern into 4 and put light wherever I need it. And it reminds me of Dad every time I see it.

Check out the Streamlight Siege. They make two versions - a D cell and a AA cell. Not the cheapest out there but I use several Streamlight flashlights for work and swear by them.

I second the Streamlight Siege. Awesome lantern. Waterproof. Floats. Removable cover to use as hanging light under a pop-up.

I like our solar inflatable lanterns. They are the new thing. Bought 2 at Big 5 Sporting Goods.
