My genius wife set us up with Amazon Prime when we bought our camper in March. Since then we've placed 36 different orders and never once paid for shipping. And we've never waited more than 4 days for receiving everything.

The Prime was the best $60 we ever spent..

I ordered an Oxygenetic Shower head, and it took about 8 days to arrive.

I recently ordered a couple of folding chairs, and it took a week for them to ship. My CC was not billed until they shipped, but they did have the amount as "pending" on my CC for the week it took them to ship the chairs. It was also interesting that they billed one of the chairs, and then the second chair plus the shipping.

I'll avoid Camping World from now on unless it's an amazing deal, but I can usually find the items I want on Amazon, and with the Prime shipping get an item in two days.

Never had any issues with Amazon, only ordered once from Camping World and I would have been able to walk from home to Miami (where item was shipped from) faster than it took them to ship it, I'll never use them for shipping again 34 days was just too long.

Jeep I gotta agree with you. I once ordered a washer/dryer for about 1200. No order ack. I called them and was told the order is "in the system". I said not good enough, I need paper or email to prove it. They complied but shouldn't take another call. I like the variety but now I call the local store and drive only if item is confirmed and held.

I have had no problems with Camping world. I have ordered on a Saturday before and had my order by Wednesday on more than one occasion. I always search for a free shipping coupon online and usually find one or at least a $10 off one.

I use Amazon almost exclusively and have never had a problem. Fair prices and they almost always exceed the shipping estimates by 1-2 days. When I've price-compared items between Amazon and CW, ~70% of the time Amazon has them beat.

The last 2 times that I have "needed".....wanted something from CW, I looked at Amazon and found both items for 20 to 30% less, and recieved both items in 3 to 5 days with no issues.
