Removal of Propane hard cover??

Can anyone tell me how you remove the entire hardshell covers from over the propane tanks on the front of my trailer. I do have the top acess pannel but when my tanks are to be refilled I have no clue how to take the cover right off. I just got my trailer mid-summer of 2010 so I haven't had to refill my bottles yet but I want to know how to do it before that time comes. It looks like the cover itself is two pieces rivited together. Thanks for any help in advance!!!!

Loosen the T-bar that holds the LP tanks in place, bring them slightly together and the cover should lift right off. Reverse the process after refilling tanks.

I just work mine off, lifting each side a little at a time. It is a bit tight, but comes up and off ok.

That's the trick.

But one SERIOUS word of caution. Hornets and other creatures like to get inside these enclosures. If your unit has been parked in one location for awhile be very careful. Over the years I have been attacked and stung by hornets on two different occasions when trying to take the cover of my propane tanks.

The hornets got inside my refrigerator once too but now I have everything screened that can possibly be screened. I have thought about trying to fabricate a screen for the bottom of the tank cover but haven't taken the time or initiative yet to figure out how to do that.
